You want the peace of mind of knowing your pet is getting the best care possible while you are away. That’s why we use modern technology to send you photo updates and notes at the end of every visit! Each team member is certified in pet CPR and First Aid, so if an emergency should arise, we can take immediate action before taking them to their veterinarian. Our team is also rigorously screened with background checks to ensure both your pet and home are in safe hands. Now you can fully relax on vacation or get into your deep-work space.
Our owner has over 12 years experience of working with animals professionally. From Animal Caretaker and Adoption Counselor at the MSPCA to receptionist and Veterinary Technician in the veterinary field. Her recognition of the need for trustworthy, knowledgeable in-home pet care lead to the creation of District Pet Care.

FREE In-Home or Virtual Consultation
Cat Sitting
Whether your cat wants to play, snuggle, or just enjoy a little companionship, we'll make sure they're catered to while you're away from home. All necessities covered and then some: We'll scoop and refresh the litter box, provide food and water, plus any special needs while sharing lots of love. We have sitters trained in administering all varieties of medication: topical, oral, and injection. Each member of our hand-picked team is pet first aid & CPR certified. We can also water plants (with detailed written instructions), and bring in any mail or packages that arrive while you’re away.
Rates start at $35 per visit
Pocket Pets & Exotics
We love all animals big and small! Fur, feathers, or scales - we have lots of experience with small birds, pocket pets such as hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, fish and reptiles. Let us take care of your unique companion so you can have peace of mind while away. Rates start at $31 for a single enclosure. Visits will include feeding, watering, and any habitat refreshing needed. We are happy to give them some time to stretch their legs or wings if your companion is accustomed to play time outside their enclosure and trained to easily go back inside.

If you need an assistance giving a new medication or treatment prescribed by your veterinarian, we can help!
We have staff trained to give subcutaneous fluids, eye and ear medications, ear cleanings, and nail trims. We can schedule regular visits to take these chores off your to-do list, or schedule a consultation to make sure you are comfortable doing it on your own.
